Our Veneer Process at Dennis Dental Care
Step 1: Consultation & Smile Planning
Your journey begins with a personalized consultation where we discuss your goals and evaluate your smile. Digital images will be taken, and you'll explore various smile design options based on your facial features and preferences. We’ll also show you a gallery of real cases from our practice to help you visualize your results.
Whether you need a couple of veneers or a full smile makeover, we’ll develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
Step 2: Smile Design & Wax-Up Blueprint
Once your treatment plan is finalized, we take impressions of your teeth and send them to a Master Ceramist. Using state-of-the-art tools, including a chewing simulator, the ceramist creates a precise “wax-up” model of your future veneers—ensuring both aesthetics and proper function.
Step 3: Tooth Preparation & Temporary Veneers
Next, we conservatively shape your teeth and place temporary veneers that you'll wear for approximately three weeks. This trial period allows you to preview your new smile and provide feedback. Any necessary adjustments are made before the final veneers are fabricated.
Step 4: Final Veneer Placement
On the big day, your temporary veneers are removed and the final porcelain veneers are carefully fitted and bonded into place. We make fine adjustments to your bite for natural and comfortable movement. Impressions may also be taken for a custom night guard to protect your new smile.
