Brushing alone isn’t always enough to keep cavities at bay, especially in those hard-to-reach areas of your child’s mouth. Dental sealants provide an extra layer of protection by filling the tiny grooves and crevices in their teeth, preventing plaque buildup and tooth decay. This protective coating smooths out the surface, making brushing more effective and keeping their smile healthier for longer.

We typically apply sealants to permanent teeth when they erupt, offering long-lasting defense against cavities. While they generally last between three to five years, some can remain intact well into adulthood. If a sealant wears off, we will replace it to maintain protection.
