Early Dental Checks for Healthy Infants

As per the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry guidelines, Robert L. Dennis, DDS and Dr. Eric Dennis recommend that infants should have their first dental check-up between six months and one year of age. Research shows that these early visits can significantly reduce the need for extensive dental treatments in the future.

During this initial appointment, the dentist will conduct a thorough assessment of your infant's oral health. They will offer advice on maintaining a healthy diet, practicing appropriate oral hygiene for their age, and addressing pacifier use. The aim is to establish a strong foundation for your child's oral health early on, ensuring that their teeth and gums stay healthy as they grow.
